Dippy eggs with Marmite soldiers

This quick, healthy, and easy breakfast will help you start your day off right.




  • Bring a saucepan of water to a boil. Bring two eggs to a boil. If you are using room temperature water, cook for 2 minutes or 3 minutes if the egg is frozen. Turn off the heat. Cover the pan, and let it sit for 2 minutes more.


  • Toast 4 slices of wholemeal bread, and then spread butter on them. Cut into squares and dip in the egg.


  • Two eggs
  • 4 slices wholemeal bread
  • A knob of butter
  • Marmite
  • Mixed seeds
